Today was focused on integrating SmartMaps v2 REST geocoding into the Shipment Creation workflow.

  • SmartMaps REST Geocoding Working

We implemented a working POST request to SmartMaps v2 with the correct singleSlot parameter.
We now receive:

  • Normalized street

  • ZIP

  • City

  • Country

  • District

  • House number

  • Modal Workflow Implemented

  • Modal open/reset works

  • Validation icons + border feedback

  • Submit button locks/unlocks successfully

  • Global JS interface stable

  • Remaining Work

  • Improve address-mismatch tolerance

  • Customer-inline creation

  • Shipment storage in backend

A small day in terms of lines of code—but a very important structural milestone for Transolix.
